Is there anyone who doesn’t think Audrey is beautiful?
The interesting thing about Audrey Hepburn’s fame as a fashion icon is that even during the height of her popularity, she was not considered beautiful by the aesthetics of that time. Next to the blonde and curvaceous bombshells, Audrey was considered too skinny, too tall, her face was too angular. Even her character in several movies (Funny Face, Love in the Afternoon…) would complain about her physical “flaws.”
Which basically goes to show that even if you are not conventionally beautiful, if you don’t have the full lips or angular cheekbones espoused by fashion magazines, you are still beautiful.
